2019 is starting very positively for Caboolture Rugby and its recent trend of participation growth looks to continue with news of a new program. Caboolture has been chosen as one of 35 clubs in the country, 12 in Queensland to roll out the new Get into Rugby Clubs. The program is a continuation of the Get into Rugby program currently run in schools through sporting schools. It is designed to try and capture participants that enjoy the game-based skills they learn at school and bring them down to their local club to give Rugby a try. It is a great introduction program to the game and if the participant enjoys it enough to sign up, the fees are taken off their season registration fees.
Another great initiative Caboolture Rugby Union is looking to implement is a Girls 7s Academy. It is designed for girls aged 9-11 to participate and learn rugby 7s and gain the required skills before progressing into the BJRU girls u13 competition. It will run on Friday nights with the other junior teams training and promises to be a lot of fun! We are holding a girls muster for girls 9 and up to come down and find out what it is all about. The muster will be held on March 22nd at the clubhouse on Petersen Road.
Aussie 7s Superstar Charlotte Caslick thinks you should be involved.
